EGYPT. Uncertain. Gnostic Amulet (Lead, 16 mm, 2.49 g, 3 h), circa 2nd-4th century AD. Abrasax facing, with the head of a rooster and snakes for legs, holding a whip in his right hand and a shield with his left. Rev. ABP/ACAΞ above and below horizontal line. The second part appears upside down. Cf. Gorny and Mosch 226 (2014), 7147 and Leu Web Auction 7 (2019), 967. Some surface cracks, otherwise, good fine.
